Convicted and untried prisoners spend most of their time participating in social activities. Every in groups of ten people, they go out to the open soccer area and closed sports center and play table tennis. By organizing inter-room socceri volleyball, basketball and tennis tournaments, the prison institution enables prisoners to have a healthier psychological and mental attitude. Folk dance course has been started as a social and cultural activity.The regional folk dances Which inmates asked for have started to be given by a skilled student assigned by the Ministry of National Education Directorate of Puplic Education Center. The folk dance activity for Which inmates are taken out in groups of ten gives an opportunity for prisoners to learn folk dance and mingle.   In accordance with a protocol signed between the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of National Education, computer courses are being given to those convicted and untried prisoners who are interested in learning about computers by skilled instructors with the computers registred in our prison's inventory and certificates are presented to successful students at the end of the course term. In line with inmates' requests, saz and bağlama courses have been started as a social and cultural activity. Certificates are presented to students at the end of course given by a skilled instructor assigned by the Sincan Directorate of Puplic Education Center.   In line with inmates' requests, charcoal and oil painting courses are being given by an instructor assigned by the Sincan Directorate of Puplic Education Center. Inmates are taken as groups to the tile-making workshop everyday so as to enable them to earn income during their period of imprisonment as well to help them become adapted to social life more easily after their release. Convicted and untried prisoners are taken in groups of ten persons also to the wood painting workshop for work. The products produced at the workshops are displayed and sold is deposited in the entrusted money account of the prisoner. Moreover, exhibitions where the products are displayed for sale are held every year at city centers with the approval of our Directorate General.
